Terms of Service

1. What OfferCheck is

OfferCheck is a tool that analyses patterns from historical UCAS offer data to help you understand how competitive your predicted grades may be for university courses. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to UCAS, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, or any UK university.

2. Your account

You must be 13 or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use OfferCheck for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the site
• Use the service in a way that could damage or overload our infrastructure

4. Intellectual property

The offer patterns, data models, and software behind OfferCheck are owned by us. You may use the tool for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialise any part of OfferCheck without our written permission.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

OfferCheck is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any prediction or data shown. University admissions outcomes depend on many factors outside our data, including personal statements, references, interviews, contextual factors, and individual university policies that may change.

6. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of paying by emailing us. Each request is reviewed individually. We approve refunds where there is a valid reason, taking into account how the service has been used.

Examples of valid reasons include:

• a technical fault we cannot fix
• being charged twice or in error
• the service not doing what was described on the page when you bought it
• access not being granted after payment
• you can no longer apply this cycle, for example you withdrew your application or changed course

These are unlikely to be valid reasons:

• changing your mind after substantial use, for example after using most of your statement feedback or many Max questions
• requests made after 14 days
• buying the wrong plan, or a plan that is not what you expected, once you have paid
• expecting features that are not listed for your plan

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. For a full refund, access ends when the refund is processed. A partial refund keeps access.

Digital access starts immediately after payment. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on OfferCheck, including any decisions made regarding university applications. Our total liability to you shall not exceed £50.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
